Projects & Stuff
Alas, Most of my projects are private (because they make money or they're not presentable) or I cannot disclose them because of professional courtesy. These are very cherry-picked to show off my best work.
Public projects listed at the top, private projects listed below, and some other random stuff at the bottom.
Public and/or Open Source
anonymous extension
a web extension designed to aggressively block
trackers and ads without compromising user security
by providing full page manipulation access like some
other ad blockers require. used js for extension and
gh for blacklist updates.
accessibility plus
an unpolished web extension that can edit styles
on any given page, originally developed to aid
dyslexic individuals. built using js.
rainydais
a toy social media app, somewhere between reddit
and twitter. built using the symfony framework on
php with the twig templating engine. at one point
i was also using python to do sentiment analysis
on posts but that was mostly just experimenting.
rainydais also used to have a mobile app but no
longer does for the same reason as kg-authenticator.
pieclicker
a game built by me and some of my friends in an
early compsci class that i later re-vamped and
turned into something more than it was?
Private and/or Closed Source
kg-analytics
an in-house analytics platform that was originally
built as an extension of rainydais, it ended up
monitoring a substantial number of my websites
and apps. this is one of my oldest active projects
to date, so the tech stack is all over the place.
kg-authenticator
a mobile two-factor-authentication app that was
originally published on the google play store.
unfortunately, i ended up closing my developer
account because i was unhappy with the
privacy-invasive practices of google.
valorant stream overlay
contracted by a small esports company, this overlay
would hook into live game events in valorant (via
overwolf) and would relay that information to an
overlay that could be placed over the game in streaming
software. the entire overlay could update itself in
real-time and had substantial error recovery capabilities.
this overlay saw use in multiple live-streamed tournaments.
built using javascript, typescript, ejs, and c++.
parkinsons diagnosis software
a bit of software resulting from months and months
of research that can accurately diagnose parkinson's
disease in individuals about 95% of the time. peer
reviewed by a former mit professor and ibm researcher.
i'm not totally sure what the next step for this project
is. i will likely either publish the work and license
it in a way so that it can't be used for profit or i'll
patent the software and methodology. maybe i can get a
third research paper out of it in the meantime, lol.
In-Development!
ksl-language
my own programming language and compiler, this
only exists because i wanted to learn more about
how compilers work. built on rust with a llvm
backend, currently using clang or gcc for linking.
i plan on open sourcing development once the compiler
reaches a more mature state, ex. currently only
primitive types are supported and ffi support is
minimal. in early benchmarks the performance is
comparable to c, although this will likely change
because i want to add a garbage collector.
smokewrite
a private and anonymous, end to end encrypted,
quantum proof, decentralized messaging app. the
idea is early in development and im getting feedback
from sme's on the security side of things before
officially starting development.
molnlight
my own self-hosted "cloud" platform with a fancy
dashboard! this is still being developed and i'll
likely consider open sourcing it at some point, but
for now, it exists just for me.
Miscellaneous
this is stuff that: i cannot reveal the exact details on, i do not want to reveal the details on, it is not presentable enough to be published, and/or it is something that i do not want to be used for malice. or it just doesn't belong anywhere else on this list and i still wanted to mention it.
- a spotify statistics previewer.
- a voice controlled assistant (back in 2019.) unfortunately, this project was quickly abandoned due to my somewhat lacking programming skills at the time.
- multiple backdoors, some in rust, some in c#. i included an auto-setup script for one of them on a usb-rubber ducky (look it up.) it could compromise a windows computer (with physical access) in about 3 seconds.
- i've built and contracted multiple websites for independent and growing artists, whether it be for music, multi-media, etc.
- i've contracted and sub-contracted with multiple fortune 500 companies by now, on both internal and public facing projects.
